About Us

St Barnabas is a single-church parish with two congregations and a number of groups doing life, prayer and outreach together. We have two services – a more traditional and formal liturgical service in the morning, with our afternoon 'Generations' service created as a space for people of all ages and stages to be able to 'take a breath' and enjoy being together with Jesus. Wherever you have come from or whatever your background might be, we would love to meet you!

I am married to Emma and have been since 1991. I have a wide variety of experience in church groups and cultures around the world and we have eight children and several grandchildren.

I genuinely love people experiencing the kindness of God found in Jesus Christ.

My wife Amy and I moved into Pegasus with our three children nine and half years ago. We now have five kids and have never looked back! I am passionate about the building of God's kingdom and the Church as Christ's body/hands and feet in the world and it is such a blessing to be a part of St Barnabas Church.

I have had a long commitment to the church, serving in many roles over the years. I have been a Workplace Industrial Wellbeing support person for nearly forty years. I am married to the lovely Graeme and have two adult sons, two daughters-in-laws and five even lovelier grandchildren.

I have been part of the St Barnabas whanau since 2021 when my son Jono came with me and was like, "What is this place? It's so much fun!" I have been involved in church ministry for about 15 years and currently work for the Anglican Diocese as the Under 40's Ministry Team Leader. I love to help disciple people so they can see Jesus in their everyday lives.
